We sold our house in Seattle and bought a house in Bellingham with Serena. We decided to work with her because we had heard good things about her from our neighbors who had used her as their agent. They had said that she made the process low stress and was fun to work with. We had been doing “agent research” and had liked one agent a lot. We went on Serena’s website and something on there about how she donates a portion of her commission to animal causes really struck a chord with us. You could just tell from her website that she wasn’t the typical everyday business woman – there was much more to her. We ended up going with Serena even though we had really loved the other agent we interviewed, so that says a lot. We wanted to sell before the market tanked. Serena urged us to put our home on the market quickly. If we had waited even a month there would have been a huge difference. Serena is very knowledgeable, down to earth and easy to talk to and is very good at making complicated transactions run smoothly. She kept us informed and was very accessible. She helps you keep things in perspective. She also helps you keep your emotions low, so that you can look at a situation objectively, and end up doing what will ultimately be best for you. She “holds you to your guns”.

Serena provided great moral and emotional support as we went through the process of selling our beloved home and finding a new one. With two rambunctious boys, three dogs and two cats we had a lot going on! She gave us helpful advice without being over bearing, and volunteered to take on tasks when it was clear we were getting overwhelmed. We have a young son, and Serena was also great about letting us set the tone for the sales process so as not to disturb him. We definitely felt like she was working for our best interests. In the end we were very happy with how the sale went and the price we got.

We had a nightmarish experience with an agent we used before. Working with Serena was a 180 degree difference. She is truly a full service agent, always accessible and on top of all the loose ends.

Serena came over and got up on ladders with me to install shutters, fix up the landscaping, and get it ready to go in time. The sale went great.
